For your security and control, your organisation will directly own all key assets. These carry predictable, recurring subscription fees paid directly to the providers. By choosing Squarespace, we are choosing a platform with transparent pricing that replaces unpredictable costs for hosting, security, and maintenance with one clear number.
Squarespace Business Plan: Approx. $35-40 CAD/month (with non-profit discount).
Domain Name Renewal: Approx. $20-30 CAD/year.
Confidentiality: This proposal contains proprietary information and is intended only for the use of Sisters Walking Together. Rachael's shared documents have also been treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Intellectual Property: Upon final payment, Sisters Walking Together will own all rights to the final, delivered website design and content. I retain the right to showcase the work in my professional portfolio.
Scope Clarifications: This proposal covers the design and build of the website as described. It does not include services such as logo design, copywriting, or ongoing monthly maintenance, which could be scoped as separate projects.
Email Configuration: The setup of your organisation's email accounts (e.g., info@) is outside this project's scope. I will collaborate closely with your designated IT contact to ensure the website's forms are correctly connected for testing and launch.
Proposal Validity: This proposal is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt.
This proposal formalises the plan we have discussed. Upon the board's approval, I will issue a simple service agreement and invoice for the 50% deposit to officially commence work. We will then begin Phase 1 immediately, starting with our strategic alignment session to finalise the Project Roadmap.
